Designing Personhood Credentials

As bots and AI agents increasingly reshape the structure of the internet, personhood credentials have been proposed as a new form of identity verification as proof of personhood. We conducted user research to examine the gaps between systems and end users into concrete UI and system design proposals.

Signals of Media Provenance

Labeling AI-Generated Contents

The emergence of generative AI has flooded online media with AI-generated content. This project examined how blind users experience existing AI labels and highlighted critical accessibility gaps.

We proposed accessible label designs that improve recognition and understanding for everyone.

​Fair DAO Governance

Mitigating Voting Power Concentration

We conducted a multimodal empirical analysis of misaligned delegation and concentration of voting power in DAO governance by linking on-chain delegation graphs with off-chain forum discussions across 14 DAOs.

01. UX Research

I uncover deep user needs and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research, drawing on industry experience as a data scientist and academic research experience in Human-Computer Interaction. I translate complex findings into clear insights that guide product direction and trustworthy experiences.

02. Cybersecurity and Privacy

I design user-centered security and privacy solutions that protect people without overwhelming them. My focus is on making safeguards understandable and usable while communicating trade-offs between privacy and usability, informed by work on information design on differential privacy and user research on personhood verification.

03. Platform/AI/DAO Governance

My work centers on governance, where I am passionate about building accountable, ethical interfaces, with experience across entertainment and advertising platforms.  My prior work includes online identity verification against AI-powered bots, labeling of AI-generated content, and empirical analysis of voting behavior in DAOs.

04. Rapid Prototyping

I synthesize user research insights into low-fidelity wireframes to explore structure and flow, followed by high-fidelity prototypes that capture realistic interactions and visual refinement. I leverage emerging AI tools for rapid experimentation and am enthusiastic about crafting experiences that are both fun and aesthetically engaging.

Trust & Safety in Complex Socio-Technical Systems

Trust in digital environments emerges from interactions among people, hardware, software, data, and regulations. My interdisciplinary background in human-computer interaction and cybersecurity approaches these entangled dynamics through a user-centered lens and develops solutions that achieve trust and safety with real user needs.
